2005 – Maggie Price – Maggie Price is the former editor and co-founder of The Pastel Journal. She has served as juror for exhibitions in several states and also for the Pastel 100 competition sponsored by The Pastel Journal. She is a juried Associate Member of the Pastel Society of America, and a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of New Mexico and APOW. Maggie paints primarily landscapes, and has developed some techniques that make landscape paintings created from photographic references look as lively and fresh as those painted on location. Unfortunately, Maggie Price passed away in April of 2013.

2018 – Mike Mahon – The workshop will focus on pastel painting with control and spontaneity. Miko has been a professional artist and pastelist for 48 years and has been teaching workshops for 18 years. He has won many awards for his work and exhibited in various museums in Texas and California. His work is recognized for a strong sense of design and dynamic and painterly use of color and value.
